My Reports - A project by Miles Goodman
From field notes
to progress reports.
My Reports is a field-reporting project shaped by my construction work. This overview shows how site photos, voice notes, and progress details can inform a report draft for a person to review. Ask me for a demonstration and where it stands.
This is my construction background, from my job with W Principles, LLC. It is not a list of Milestone clients. Services is the work I take on: automation, training, and websites.
An illustrative workflow
Field reporting
Step 01
Gather the inputs
Site photos, voice notes and project notes
Step 02
Organize a draft
Group the information into a report draft. Flag gaps to check.
Step 03
Human review & use
A person checks facts and context before sharing or using the report.
Workflow steps to discuss
01
Choose useful inputs
Discuss which site photos and notes would help explain the day: crew activity, progress, weather and open items.
02
Organize a draft
A possible AI step could help organize those inputs into a progress narrative, photo captions and open items. A person would check each detail against the source material.
03
Review and choose a format
Check the draft and decide how an approved report would be shared, such as a PDF. The format and review steps are part of the discussion.

Progress summary
A potential report layout could combine selected photos, progress notes and open items for review.
Trade notes
Consider what crew activity and pending work should be recorded alongside the photos.
Dated context
Agree how dates and source references would help people follow the project history.
Review checklist
Define who checks the draft, what must be verified and which details belong in the shared report.
